Jacob Meijer is an award winning  Dutch filmcomposer.

Based in Amsterdam Jacob has created compelling scores for a wide range of projects both national and international, always with a focus on storytelling, using music to enhance the emotional and narrative depth of each film.

A graduate from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, films Jacob has composed music for include Dutch submission for the Academy Awards Narcosis and the critically acclaimed The judgment, for which he received a Dutch Gouden Kalf nomination together with Jorrit Kleijnen and Alexander Reumers.

Be it filmscore, soundtrack for commercial or a custom song: the objective is to let the music play a crucial role in shaping the viewer’s emotional experience and deepening the story’s impact.
